Depending on how you use Ulitin, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, password hash, account type, business information, city, state, ZIP code, country, preferred language, listings, reviews, favorites, searches, browsing activity, account activity, device information, IP address, security logs and information you choose to provide.
2. Account and Authentication Information
We process account information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, verify email addresses, support login features, prevent unauthorized access, provide account recovery and protect the platform against fraud and abuse. Passwords should be stored only in protected hashed form and are not intended to be readable as plain-text passwords.
3. Listings, Photos and Videos
When you create a listing, we may process the title, description, price, category, location, attributes, photos, videos and other information you submit. Published listing information may be publicly visible and may be indexed by search engines or displayed through supported integrations.
4. Business Pages
Business users may provide business names, logos, cover images, descriptions, categories, addresses, operating hours, websites, phone numbers and other business information. Information intended for a public business page may be publicly displayed to marketplace users and search engines.
5. Messages
Ulitin may store messages and related information to provide conversation history, deliver communications, detect abuse, investigate reports, improve reliability and protect marketplace users. Users should avoid sending sensitive information through marketplace messages unless necessary.
6. Audio and Video Calls
Ulitin provides built-in audio and video calling so users and businesses can communicate without publicly sharing a personal phone number. Audio and video transmitted during calls are encrypted in transit. Ulitin does not record or store the audio or video content of calls. Limited technical information may be processed when necessary to establish and maintain a connection, operate the calling service, protect security, diagnose failures and prevent abuse.
7. Call Privacy and Recording by Users
Although Ulitin does not record or store the audio or video content of calls, another participant may use capabilities outside Ulitin to record or capture a conversation. Users are responsible for complying with applicable consent, privacy and recording laws. Ulitin cannot control recording performed independently on another user's device.
8. AI Listing Wizard
When you use the AI Listing Wizard, information you provide, including uploaded photos and listing details, may be processed to analyze the item, assist with item recognition, suggest a category, generate a title or description and provide related listing assistance. AI-generated results may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before publication.
9. AI Cat and Automated Features
Information submitted to AI-powered assistants may be processed to provide requested assistance and improve the relevant workflow. Users should avoid entering passwords, financial account credentials, government identification numbers or other unnecessary highly sensitive information into AI prompts.
10. Translation Features
Ulitin may process listing text or messages to provide translation between supported languages. Automated translations can contain errors. Important transaction terms, prices, legal information and safety information should be independently confirmed.
11. Location Information
We may process location-related information such as country, state, city, ZIP code, manually selected locations and, when permission is provided, device-based location information. Location is used for nearby listings, business discovery, search filters, Community Map features and other location-based functionality.
12. Reviews and Ratings
When you submit a review, we may process your account identifier, display name, rating, review text, timestamps and information related to moderation, helpful votes or reports. Reviews intended for publication may be publicly displayed.
13. Google Merchant Center and Other Integrations
Eligible listing information may be transmitted to Google Merchant Center or other third-party services when necessary to provide an enabled integration. Data transmitted may include product information, listing URLs, images, prices, availability and other information required by the integration. Third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
14. Analytics and Usage Information
We may collect information about how users interact with Ulitin, such as page views, searches, clicks, listing views, feature usage, approximate location derived from technical information, browser or device type, referral information and performance data. We use this information to understand usage, improve features, diagnose problems and measure platform performance.
15. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Ulitin may use cookies, local storage, session identifiers and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, language selection, analytics, performance and functionality. Browser settings may allow users to restrict certain cookies, although doing so can affect some platform features.
16. Mobile Application, Device and Push Notification Data
When using the mobile application or supported browser features, Ulitin may process device information, application version, notification subscription information, device capabilities and technical identifiers needed to provide app functionality and push notifications. Notification permissions can generally be controlled through device or browser settings.
17. How We Use Information
We use information to provide accounts, listings, business pages, search, messages, calls, AI assistance, translations, reviews, notifications and other services; personalize and improve the platform; detect fraud and abuse; enforce policies; provide support; maintain security; comply with legal obligations; and understand platform performance.
18. Service Providers and Data Sharing
Ulitin may provide information to service providers that perform functions such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, security, communications, AI processing, translation or other technology services. We provide information as reasonably necessary for those services. Ulitin does not sell personal information for money.
19. Public Information
Listings, public profiles, business pages, reviews and other information intentionally published by a user may be visible to anyone, including users who are not signed in, search engines and services that index public web pages. Users should not publish information they do not want publicly available.
20. Legal Disclosures and Safety
We may preserve, access or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, court orders or valid legal process; respond to lawful government requests; investigate fraud, abuse or security threats; enforce our Terms; protect users; or protect the rights, safety and integrity of Ulitin and others.
21. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain account and transaction-related records, protect security, detect fraud, resolve disputes, maintain backups and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.
22. Account Deletion and Data Requests
Users may request account or personal-data actions through available account controls or Ulitin support. Certain information may continue to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, backups, dispute resolution, enforcement or other legitimate purposes permitted by law.
23. Security
Ulitin uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no online service, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and devices.
24. Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or information about certain personal data. Some jurisdictions may also provide rights relating to portability, restriction, objection or appeal. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements.
25. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. Where such laws apply to Ulitin and the requesting individual, Ulitin will process verified requests as required by law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
26. Children
Ulitin is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we may take steps to delete or restrict it.
27. International Processing
Ulitin is primarily designed for the United States, but users or service providers may access or process information from other locations. Information may therefore be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection rules, subject to applicable law.
28. Third-Party Links and Services
Ulitin may link to or integrate with third-party websites, maps, app stores, analytics systems or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Ulitin is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
