Shipping Policy
Ulitin is an online classifieds and marketplace technology platform. Ulitin does not sell, own, possess, store, package, ship, transport or deliver items listed by independent users and businesses.
1. Ulitin's Role
Ulitin provides technology that allows independent users and businesses to publish listings, discover listings and communicate with one another. Ulitin is not the seller, buyer, merchant of record, retailer, distributor, manufacturer, reseller, broker, carrier, freight forwarder, delivery provider, warehouse, escrow provider, payment guarantor or agent of users merely because a listing, message, business page or other content appears on Ulitin.
2. Shipping Is Arranged by the Seller and Buyer
Unless Ulitin expressly states otherwise for a specific service, shipping, delivery, pickup and transportation arrangements are made directly between the buyer and the independent seller. Sellers determine whether shipping is available and are responsible for communicating applicable shipping methods, costs, geographic restrictions, handling times and other delivery terms.
3. Seller Responsibility
The seller is responsible for packaging the item, selecting and paying any carrier or delivery provider as applicable, providing accurate shipping information, complying with carrier requirements, export or import requirements where applicable, and fulfilling the transaction according to the terms agreed with the buyer.
4. Buyer Responsibility
Before purchasing, paying for or accepting shipment of an item, buyers should confirm directly with the seller the item's availability, total price, shipping cost, carrier, handling time, estimated delivery time, pickup terms, tracking availability, insurance and any other material delivery conditions.
5. Shipping Information in Listings
Shipping availability, shipping prices, delivery estimates, locations and related information displayed in a listing are generally supplied by the seller. Ulitin may provide fields or technical tools for displaying this information, but the seller remains responsible for its accuracy and for keeping it current.
6. No Ulitin Fulfillment
Unless expressly identified otherwise for a particular transaction, Ulitin does not take possession of listed goods, maintain inventory for sellers, package orders, select carriers, print shipping labels, dispatch shipments or physically deliver products.
7. Delivery Times
Any delivery or handling estimate associated with a listing is an estimate and should be confirmed with the seller. Ulitin does not guarantee dispatch dates, carrier performance, transit times, delivery dates or the availability of tracking information.
8. Loss, Delay and Damage
Questions or claims concerning delayed, missing, damaged, misdelivered or undelivered shipments should be addressed to the seller and, where appropriate, the carrier, insurer or payment provider involved in the transaction. Ulitin may provide reporting or communication tools but does not thereby become the shipper, carrier, insurer or party responsible for fulfillment.
9. Local Pickup
If users arrange local pickup, the buyer and seller are responsible for agreeing on the location, time, payment method, inspection and transfer of the item. Users should take reasonable safety precautions when meeting another person.
10. International Transactions
Buyers and sellers participating in cross-border transactions are responsible for determining applicable shipping restrictions, customs requirements, duties, taxes, import or export rules, sanctions and other legal requirements.
11. No Endorsement or Guarantee
A listing appearing on Ulitin does not mean that Ulitin owns, possesses, has inspected, verified, approved, certified or endorsed the item, seller, shipping method or carrier. Ulitin does not guarantee that a seller will ship an item or that a shipment will arrive within a particular time or condition.
12. Platform Reports
Users may report suspected fraud, prohibited listings or other violations to Ulitin. Ulitin may investigate and take platform actions such as restricting content or accounts. Such moderation does not make Ulitin a party to the transaction or create an obligation for Ulitin to fulfill, reimburse or insure a shipment.
13. Applicable Law
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. This policy should be read together with the Ulitin Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
