Returns & Refunds Policy
Ulitin provides a technology platform for independent buyers and sellers. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific Ulitin service, Ulitin is not the seller or merchant of record for items listed by users and does not establish the seller's return policy.
1. Transactions Are Between Users
Purchases, sales and other agreements concerning listed goods or services are made between the buyer and the independent seller. The appearance of a listing on Ulitin does not make Ulitin the seller, retailer, distributor or contracting party.
2. Seller Return Policies
Each seller is responsible for communicating any applicable return, cancellation, exchange, warranty or refund terms before or during the transaction. Buyers should review and confirm those terms directly with the seller before making payment.
3. Ulitin Does Not Set a Universal Seller Return Window
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular Ulitin-operated service, Ulitin does not impose a universal return window on independent sellers. Return eligibility and deadlines may vary according to the seller, item, transaction and applicable law.
4. Refunds
For transactions conducted directly between users, Ulitin does not collect the purchase price as merchant of record and does not issue product refunds on behalf of independent sellers. Refund requests should be directed to the seller and, where applicable, the payment provider used for the transaction.
5. Returns
Buyers should not send an item to Ulitin. Ulitin does not operate a general returns warehouse for independently listed products. The buyer must obtain return instructions and the appropriate return address directly from the seller.
6. Return Shipping
The buyer and seller are responsible for determining who pays return shipping, which carrier will be used, whether tracking or insurance is required and any other return-shipping conditions, subject to applicable law and their agreement.
7. Cancellations and Exchanges
Requests to cancel an order or exchange an item should be made directly to the seller. The seller is responsible for responding according to the transaction terms and applicable law.
8. Warranties
Product warranties, manufacturer warranties and seller warranties, if any, are provided by the applicable seller, manufacturer or warranty provider. A listing on Ulitin does not create a warranty from Ulitin regarding the listed item.
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Payment disputes, unauthorized-payment claims and chargebacks are governed by the rules of the payment method or payment provider used by the buyer and seller. Ulitin does not guarantee the outcome of a payment dispute or chargeback.
10. Item Not as Described
If an item is materially different from the seller's description, the buyer should contact the seller promptly and preserve relevant messages, photographs, receipts, shipping records and other transaction evidence.
11. Reporting a Seller or Listing to Ulitin
Users may report suspected fraud, prohibited content or violations of Ulitin's rules. Ulitin may review a report and may remove a listing, restrict an account or take other platform-level action. Reporting a transaction does not make Ulitin the seller, buyer, payment guarantor or party to the underlying transaction.
12. No Automatic Reimbursement by Ulitin
Unless Ulitin expressly offers a separate written buyer-protection program applicable to a particular transaction, use of Ulitin does not create an Ulitin-funded reimbursement, purchase guarantee, insurance policy or escrow arrangement for transactions between independent users.
13. Seller Legal Obligations
Nothing in this policy eliminates obligations a seller may have under applicable consumer-protection, warranty, return, refund or other laws. Sellers remain responsible for determining and complying with the laws applicable to their transactions.
14. Limitation of Ulitin's Role
To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes regarding the condition of an item, fulfillment, cancellation, return, exchange, warranty, shipping or refund are matters between the buyer and seller and, where applicable, their carrier, payment provider, manufacturer or insurer. Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
